Wynwood walls was established in 2009 by Tony Goldman. He was known for taking industrialized areas and bringing art into those areas. The wynwood walls specifically host a lot of street artist works in one area. It is free and open to the public.
Wynwood has a lot of restaurants and bars and shops to check out. Derrick Turton aka “Chef Teach” owner of World Famous House of Mac is a must go to spot for food while in wynwood! His famous Mac and cheese restaurant has the best wings and comfort food and carribean twist that hits all the flavors salivary taste buds!
Ooh raw is the place to go for smoothies , açaí bowls and games!
Wynwood Yard is a chill spot to go to where you can find artist and food trucks and a marketplace for small shop vendors ! It’s also a place to party at day or night!
So much to do and see here throughout the year but I love the art and the vibes here!
