How to make your own candles at Candleland

You may or may not know but I’m a avid Instagram contest winner. I have won several different contest over the years. This time I won a private party for me and 9 of my friends at Candleland Coral gables location. It couldn’t have come at a more special time because we were celebrating the weekend before my sister took her last chemotherapy treatment.

You get to choose everything from the scent you want your candle to be to the container that you would like your candle to be in. They have sweet smelling fragrances which are my favorite and then they have musk scents and more beach like scents. You are also able to mix the fragrances also. Pictured below is the candle scents and the containers to choose from. They set up the workstation for you and it has a tray with the wicks for your candle and a measuring beaker and a scale. You have to pour a certain amount of the fragrance into the beaker and the scale is to weigh it so it doesn’t go past a certain weight.

They have someone to walk you step by step through the candle making process. So there’s no need for you to be an expert they are very patient and kind and very through to get you through the process.

Making Candles is such a therapeutic and relaxing experience. If you haven’t tried this before you definitely want to give it a try they have a few different locations like Wynwood, Coral Gables and Fort Lauderdale.
