How to get there
When you ride the Brightline you can get from Fort Lauderdale to Miami in 30 minutes which a short ride. The benefits are you get to miss the Miami traffic and you can take the Bright+ shared car or private car . It will take you to the Design District and then take you back to the station.
Museum Garage
This parking garage is seven stories and it’s only 3$ for parking for 4 hours. This is one of the coolest parking garages in Miami. The architectural design is so pretty with all the bright vibrant colors perfect spot for a photoshoot. The rooftop of the garage even has a slide that leads down to a playground.
Otl Cafe
It’s always a good idea for brunch and I’ve come to get quite thrilled about finding new unique places for brunch. Living in South Florida we are filled with so many different options for hip new places , hidden gems and pop up places also.
The Design District is recently re designed and one of Miami’s most beautiful and upscale shopping destinations. Art Basel is one of the most Hype art event of the year . In the heart of the Design District you’ll find the OTL cafe where the store commissioned artist by Kai and Sunny to transform the two story storefront. They transformed it into the signature blue hue we have come to know and love.
Louis Vuitton
Just out exploring the Design District and came across this beautiful art installation by the late Virgil Abloh who collaborated with the Miami Design District, Abloh designed a chess-inspired installation for the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer collection. In a play on the Louis Vuitton house’s iconic, you will see two oversized sculptures wearing looks from the collection sitting in front of a Louis Vuitton Mural within a life size chess game. If you walk throughout the district you can find Abloh’s sculptures activated throughout Miami, continuing the men’s story and celebrating his legacy.
